Tiempo de mujeres es un festival cultural que busca unir y empoderar, para responder a la violencia hacia las mujeres. Se realizará del 6 al 15 de marzo con más de 80 actividades organizadas por mujeres y dirigido a todas las mujeres de la Ciudad de México.
La finalidad es promover, divulgar información, servicios de atención jurídica, orientación psicológica y trabajo a favor de la equidad de género a través de distintas manifestaciones culturales.
Conciertos
El sábado 7 de marzo será el concierto masivo y gratuito en el Zócalo a partir de las 17:00 horas con Mon Laferte, Ana Tijoux y Sara Curruchich.
También será el debut de la Orquesta Sinfónica Sororidad de la Ciudad de México, integrada por 80 mujeres, quienes interpretarán música mexicana el domingo 15 de marzo a las 13:00 horas en el Kiosco del Zócalo capitalino.
Un alto a la violencia
Se movilizarán por varios frentes a más de 400 artistas mujeres, académicas, activistas, investigadoras y deportistas nacionales e internacionales para hacer conciencia ante la violencia de género, marginación, diferencias salariales, embarazo adolescente y la generación de oportunidades llevando en varios espacios manifestaciones culturales.
Desde el 6 de marzo habrá feria de servicios, danza, teatro y cabaret, proyecciones de cine, exposiciones, mesas de diálogo y talleres para crear conciencia e invitar a la reflexión. En Ciudad Universitaria, Islas de CU, en la “Tarde de Sororidad”, se presentarán varios grupos musicales: La Sorora Maravilla, Mariachi Xóchitl, danzonera Isora, las Standuperras y la Banda Mixanteña de Santa Cecilia a partir de las 16:00 hrs.
Exposiciones
A partir del 12 de marzo y hasta el 12 de abril, podrás conocer en el Museo de la Ciudad de México varias exposiciones que empoderan lo femenino; entre éstas se encuentra la desconocida faceta como pintora de Mon Laferte con su muestra “Gestos de Mon Laferte”, que estará en ese recinto.
La cartelera es amplia y variada: Faros, Centros culturales, Metro, Museos y otras sedes, organizados por el Gobierno de la Ciudad, se unen para este esfuerzo conjunto con Universidades, Instituto del Deporte y la Secretaría de Cultura Federal para esta amplia oferta de actividades.

Today, I went to the beach front with my kids.
