Aunque sea difícil de creer, la Ciudad de México tiene entre sus alcaldías, espacios verdes inmensos, entre éstos resalta el de Chapultepec, el cual alberga museos, espacios emblemáticos en la historia mexicana, pero sobre todo, un bosque de enormes dimensiones. También está el bosque de Aragón en los límites de la CDMX y el Edomex, el bosque de Tlalpan ubicado en la alcaldía del mismo nombre y el bosque de Nativitas en la alcaldía Xochimilco, entre otros.
