El pasado 23 de agosto la novena película de Quentin Tarantino por fin fue estrenada para deleitar a los fans de este excéntrico y genial director de cine, el cuál sorprende a sus seguidores con una cinta excepcional en la que la sangre está presente, así como el humor negro y las escenas de violencia sin límites que caracterizan las cintas de este director.
En esta ocasión nos regala una cinta que se ubica a finales de los años 60, época que se recuerda por la presencia “hippie”, la cultura “pop” y ser la época en donde la “familia Manson” se revela al mundo tras el crimen contra una actriz muy reconocida en ese tiempo, Sharon Tate, esposa del director de cine Roman Polanski. También es un homenaje hacia el Hollywood de ese tiempo.
Sin seguir al pie de la letra dicho atentado, Tarantino opta por apropiarse de este suceso trágico de la historia y plasmarlo como solo él podría hacerlo, generando una película con escenas para crear conjeturas y un final totalmente inesperado, logrando con esto que su novena película “Había una vez… en Hollywood” cautive y deje encantado a más de uno de los cinéfilos que acuden a verla.
Hay que recordar que Tarantino dijo que solo dirigiría 10 películas para después retirarse, siendo así, nos regala la novena entrega de esta lista: “Bastardos sin Gloria”, “Pulp Fiction”, “Django sin cadenas”; “Kill Bill” y “Kill Bill 2”, “Perros de Reserva”, “Jackie Brown” “Los 8 más odiados”. Tarantino ha mostrado su destreza para crear historias interesantes, entretenidas y diferentes, generando con esto un gran interés por su trabajo.
