Luz ABS

Esta luz se enciende cuando el sistema de ABS (sistema antibloqueo de frenos) deja de funcionar. El sistema ha evitado numerosos accidentes y volcaduras, pues al no bloquear por completo las ruedas el frenado, garantiza la capacidad de gobierno sobre la dirección y le da la opción al conductor de recuperar el control parcial o total del vehículo en cuestión de segundos.

Luz indicadora presión de neumáticos

Esta luz entra en acción cuando alguno de los sensores que tiene el auto en las cuatro ruedas detecta un neumático con baja presión de aire. Dicho sistema está implementado en la mayoría de los coches y ha ayudado a evitar accidentes por un neumático con el aire bajo.

Luz control de estabilidad

Algunos autos ya cuentan con el indicador de control de estabilidad, el cual es un sistema que mantiene un mejor manejo a altas velocidades. Cuando esta luz se enciende indica que el control esta desconectado; entonces el auto es más propenso a perder el control en alguna curva e incluso puede volcar por la velocidad que se lleva. En algunos casos este sistema lo puede activar el conductor para tener más control sobre el vehículo.

Luz Indicadora Check Engine

La temida luz indicadora check engine solo permanece encendida cuando se detecta una falla en el sistema de inyección y de encendido. Esta luz prenderá cuando el auto arranque, se apagará si el coche está en buenas condiciones, de lo contrario, se mantendrá encendida, al ver esta luz es necesario acudir de inmediato con el mecánico de confianza para hacer el chequeo y la compostura correspondiente.

Algunas veces para pasar la verificación vehicular, hay personas que tienden a desactivar la luz del check engine, se recomienda poner atención a este tipo de señales, recuerda que teniendo el conocimiento de su funcionamiento tendrás un carro confiable y listo para cualquier eventualidad que aparezca en el camino.
