¡Gran remate de libros! Diez días que cambiarán tu mundo

Una de las ferias de libros más esperada se acerca ya en el horizonte: la edición 13 del Gran remate de Libros, se realizará  del 12 al 21 de julio en la explanada del Monumento a la Revolución.

Diez días para que los buscadores de títulos, autores, libros únicos y  ediciones especiales, disfruten de un paseo por los libros. 

Este evento es el mismo que se organizaba en el Auditorio Nacional pero ahora se encuentra en remodelación el espacio y por ello se ubicó finalmente en el Monumento a la Revolución, que resulta de fácil acceso. El Gran Remate de Libros se llevará a cabo dentro del festival Diálogos de verano: Fiesta de las Ciencias y Humanidades, organizado por la Secretaría de Cultura de la Ciudad de México. 

Formarnos como lectores

La Estrategia Nacional de Lectura, que dio a conocer a principios de año el gobierno federal es el proyecto para fomentar la lectura, ser mejores personas, despertar la imaginación y procurar el gozo del lector. 

Tiene tres ejes: el primero se refiere a inculcar el hábito de lectura desde la infancia y adolescencia, el segundo es de carácter sociocultural y se enfoca a que haya títulos atractivos para el público a precios accesibles y el tercer eje se refiere al carácter informativo, que incluye campañas para posicionar la lectura como un hábito que permite sentir y pensar más allá de lo inmediato. Hay que tener en cuenta que en nuestro país no solo basta estar alfabetizado sino el formarnos como lectores, que analizan y critican, se preguntan y aprenden.

Expositores, editoriales y actividades culturales

El Remate de Libros llevará consigo a 257 expositores, 700 editoriales, con libros desde el 50,60 y 70 por ciento de descuento. En este encuentro editorial estarán también realizándose a la par, más de 250 actividades culturales y artísticas: música, funciones de artes escénicas; con  la participación de más de cien promotores culturales.

El  foro “Fernando del Paso”, nombrado así en homenaje a la vida y obra del escritor mexicano que falleció el 14 de noviembre del año pasado, será el lugar de varias presentaciones: habrá talleres, cuentacuentos, conferencias y trueque de libros.

La venta nocturna  será el sábado 20 de julio de 10:00 a 22:00 horas. El horario normal será de 10:00 a 19:00 horas

Diálogos de Verano

El programa será más amplio ya que dentro de los Diálogos de Verano se convocará al Encuentro nacional LEVADURA de Cultura Comunitaria del 17 al 20 de julio en Faro de Oriente, donde se hablará sobre la trascendencia de la cultura comunitaria y sus alcances políticos y sociales con invitados internacionales. 

También habrá otro escenario para las charlas del Diálogo de Verano: en el Teatro de la Ciudad  Esperanza Iris, el 11 de julio a las 18:00 horas se presentan Armando Batra y Rolando Cordera y el 12 de julio, Enrique Dussel, Verónica Velasco y Héctor Díaz Polanco reflexionarán sobre transformaciones éticas en el México actual.

Jordi Borja, urbanista catalán e Ileana Villalobos, Secretaria de Desarrollo Urbano sostendrán conversación sobre el tema  el 18 de julio a las 18:00 horas en el Museo de la Ciudad de México. Consulta la cartelera para más información.

Todas las actividades serán gratuitas.
