México lindo e inclusivo

¿Sabías que existe un programa llamado “Equidad México”  el cual se dedica a certificar empresas con el sello de inclusión LGBTTTI?

Este programa está diseñado bajo los criterios de la Fundación Human Rights Campaign (HRC) la cual tiene sede en Estados Unidos y su principal labor es promover la inclusión laboral de las personas lesbiana, gay, bisexual, transgenero,transexual,travesti e intersexual.(LGBTTTI).

Bajo los estudios de la HRC se ha demostrado que cuando los empleados son auténticos en todos los entornos en los que se desarrollan, su vida prospera y su rendimiento es mejor.

El programa Equidad México fue implementado en 2017, durante el cual lograron certificarse 32 empresas. El año pasado se evaluaron 73 empresas líderes en México, de las cuales 69 obtuvieron la certificación, logrando posicionarse como “Los mejores lugares para trabajar LGBTTTI”.

Criterios inclusivos  

Los criterios con los cuales debe cumplir una empresa para lograr la certificación son los siguientes:

  • Adopción de políticas de no discriminación LGBTTTI.
  • Creación de Grupos de recursos para trabajadores LGBTTTI o consejos de diversidad e inclusión.
  • Participación en actividades públicas para apoyar la inclusión LGBTTTI

Los criterios son evaluados con un puntaje basado en paridad o equivalencias, los cuales sumarán puntos y de esta manera los que logren las calificación máxima (100 puntos) se harán acreedores a la certificación.

Algunas de las empresas que cuentan con una certificación a nivel mundial son: Aeroméxico, American Airlines, Cinépolis, Coca-Cola Femsa, Facebook México, Ford Motor Company, General Electric, Google, Microsoft, PepsiCo México, Petróleos Mexicanos, Uber, entre los más conocidos.

Para este 2019 se tiene la expectativa de doblar el número de empresas certificadas para hacer que los centros laborales sean más equitativos y eso en parte beneficie a las empresas, ayudándolas a permanecer competitivas en los próximos años.
