Hoy en día las redes sociales son un medio de comunicación y contacto. Existe una mayor audiencia, junto con la tecnología y las innovaciones. Se ha creado un mundo virtual que ayuda a  agilizar más las relaciones interpersonales por medio de las plataformas sin necesidad de trasladarnos de un lado a otro.

La interacción virtual forma una estructura social; estas redes son tendencias que se van marcando de acuerdo a la demanda que existe, como ejemplo, Youtube, Facebook,  twitter, WhatsApp e Instagram, entre las más utilizadas.

  1. Comunicación instantánea: todas las personas tienen la necesidad de relacionarse con otras, es lo que hacen las redes, facilitar dicha relación.

  3. Información y entretenimiento: podemos ver eventos en tiempo real, elegir los medios de comunicación que más nos interesan para estar informados sobre lo que pasa en el mundo.
