Travesías de Café: un viaje de altura al sabor y la gastronomía veracruzana

En una noche de gala, con deliciosos manjares veracruzanos, bebidas típicas, bailes regionales, presentaciones culturales, espectáculos artísticos de las regiones de Xalapa y Coatepec arrancó ayer el programa turístico Travesías de café.

En Xalapa se come “bien y barato” y se recorren episodios históricos. “Lo que antes fue un capítulo triste de nuestra historia” refiriéndose a la conquista en 1492 con la llegada de Hernán Cortés   se convierte hoy en la “ruta mestiza”, llena de deliciosos platillos y representaciones culturales, comentó el actual alcalde de Xalapa Pedro Hipólito Rodríguez Herrero.

Ante el majestuoso Casino Español ubicado en el corazón de la Ciudad De México, el alcalde de Xalapa expresó: “No existe un mejor espacio para representar hoy la amistad de nuestros pueblos y presumir la riqueza cultural y gastronómica que empezó en la Villa Rica de la Veracruz”. 

“Gracias a las políticas del actual presidente Andrés Manuel López Obrador, hoy Veracruz y particularmente Xalapa y Coatepec están produciendo nuevamente café de altura”. El 31 de mayo del presente año, arrancó el programa de apoyo a productores de café que consiste en la entrega directa de 5 mil pesos para invertir en insumos o plantas. 

Travesías del Café ofrece una experiencia inolvidable en torno al mundo del café desde conocer los cafetales, los procesos de tostado, hasta la manera correcta de degustar un café.

Este programa es apoyado por artistas de la talla de Natalia Lafourcade misma que cedió los derechos de su reconocida melodía “Tierra Veracruzana” y es posible gracias al apoyo directo de El Café Tal, La finca de Don Silvano, Café Don Justo, Finca Arriaga, Museo Bola de Oro.
