Este primer domingo de abril marcará el inicio del horario de verano 2019, te explicamos qué es y por qué es importante adelantar una hora el reloj.

¿Será que rinde más el día? ¿Será que vale la pena regalar una hora de sueño? Para todos es difícil la despertada y más aún cuando el reloj se adelanta una hora un domingo por la noche por disposición gubernamental. Parece una acción ominosa, pero tiene un trasfondo en pro del planeta. Karen Gómez es comerciantes y dice que desde su percepción el día le rinde más pues amanece temprano y anochece más tarde. Ella tenía dos años cuando se implementó.

Este 2019 este cambio cumple 23 años y un siglo de su existencia en EE.UU. Desde que se implementó el Tratado de Libre Comercio llegó a nuestro país, pues desde sus inicios tiene tintes económicos. Los especialistas señalan que el horario de verano es una práctica exclusiva del hemisferio norte donde llegan los rayos del sol no de manera directa sino llegan con menor intensidad. Por ejemplo al sur solo lo implementan Brasil y Australia.

México duerme una hora menos desde 1996

En México este cambio se implementa desde hace 23 años se dijo que era para ahorrar un ahorro energético significativo. La medida era consecuencia evidente del TLCAN (firmado un par de años antes).Básicamente había que alinear los intercambios comerciales con EE. UU. En los estados de la frontera norte está estipulado que deben adaptar su horario con el del vecino del norte. Es decir, ellos se adelantan una hora más que la CDMX (excepto Sonora, por su clima y por colindar con Arizona).

Hablando del beneficio económico, un estudio de Genaro Grajeda, las cifras para el fideicomiso para el ahorro de la energía eléctrica, de 1996 a 2018 se ahorraron más de 20 mil watts por hora, lo que evitó el consumo de casi 40 mil barriles de combustibles fósiles.

“Durante el HV 2018, vigente desde 1996, se alcanzó un ahorro estimado de 941.019 GWh en el consumo de energía eléctrica. Esta cifra es equivalente al abastecimiento de 589 mil casas habitación durante todo un año, con un consumo promedio de 266 kw/bimestre”.

En teoría se beneficia el ambiente y la economía, así que ¡adelanta tu reloj!
